Il Burj Khalifa conosciuto con il nome di Burj Dubai, è un grattacielo di Dubai, negli Emirati Arabi uniti (UAE). È la più alta struttura mai realizzata dall'uomo.
L'inizio dei lavori risale al 21 settembre 2004 ed è stato aperto al pubblico il 4 gennaio 2010, realizzato dallo studio di architettura Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, LLP di Chicago.Il budget totale per la torre ammonta a 1,5 miliardi di dollari, cifra che sale a 20 miliardi di dollari per l'intero complesso circostante.
Il Burj Khalifa è il centro di un vasto complesso che si sviluppa nel centro di Dubai, che comprende, tra gli altri, il 2° albergo più alto del mondo, il Burj al-Arab, la più grande marina artificiale del mondo, la Dubai Marina, le più grandi isole artificiali, le Palm Islands e le World Islands, il Dubai Waterfront e il più grande centro commerciale al mondo, il Dubai Mall.

L'Hotel Armani occupa il 37º piano, i piani dal 45º al 108º ospitano 700 appartamenti privati, che, secondo i costruttori, sono stati tutti venduti entro otto ore dalla messa in vendita. Gli altri piani sono occupati da uffici, eccetto il piano 123º e il 124º, che ospita una terrazza panoramica, e una terrazza esterna.
Il design del Burj Khalifa ricorda molto il Grattacielo Illinois, ipotizzato da Frank Lloyd Wright.
